Here at First Step we’re excited to let you know that Isaak, a former client, has completed the Brighton Marathon on 7 April to raise funds for First Step. This is an amazing achievement and we’re sure you join us in thanking Isaak for his dedication and hard work.
In his GoFundMe page, Isaak says the following about First Step:
Back in 2018, First Step helped me through a difficult time in my life after I was sexually assaulted. They helped me to overcome adversity and got my life back on track. These incredible people did so much for me, and continue to do so for many others suffering. This charity means so much to me, and they rely solely on donations from the public and fundraising to make sure they can continue their services. I am running this marathon because I will forever be in debt to the people at First Step, and I want to give back to them as much as I can. Your donations will go towards helping other male survivors of rape and sexual abuse, like me, to help them to take their first step.
At time of writing, Isaak has raised a wonderful £700. If you’d like to support his efforts please see his GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/d68adf7f
