Role: Service Administrator & Finance Officer
Salary: £23,000 FTE (pro rata)
Hours of work: 30 hours per week (0.8 of FTE) Monday-Thursday
Leave: 168 hours per annum (excluding bank holidays) (0.8 of FTE)
Accountability: Reporting to the Operations Manager with day-to-day operational support to the Clinical Coordinator
Location: Alliance House, 6 Bishop Street, Leicester, LE1 6AF
Contract: Permanent. Subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and successful completion of 6-month probationary period.
About First Step: First Step is a small, specialist charity that supports men and boys who have experienced sexual abuse, rape and sexual assault across the Leicester, Leicester & Rutland areas. We provide a range of services including Counselling, Emotional, Practical and Advocacy Support, Peer Support Groups and support for partners and other supporters of our primary clients.
About the role: The post holder will carry out key administrative and reception functions, including dealing with email, telephone and face to face enquiries, processing referrals, arranging appointments, data inputting and analysis, administering petty cash, and carrying out finance functions such as invoice processing and management accounts variance reporting. No two days are the same at First Step and we require someone who can deal with multiple tasks as well as being sensitive, friendly and welcoming to our clients.
